About me
I’m Xinyi, a product designer based in Seattle. I’ve always been passionate about creating experiences that resonate with people.
I started as a filmmaker, crafting stories for the silver screen, which gave me a solid foundation in storytelling and a deep understanding of human interaction.
Now, I channel that same creative energy into product design. I currently work at a design agency, where I proactively design for startups across AI, Web3, and other industries—turning business ideas into user-centered, evidence-based solutions that make a real impact.
Design focus
Thinking beyond the box
I’m driven by the thrill of infusing fresh, innovative ideas into products. My goal is to bring uniqueness and creativity to every project, delivering valuable brand and business impact.
Evidence-driven decisions
For me, research goes beyond formulas. Even when resources are tight, I’m committed to uncovering insights that guide my design choices. For example, in developing IngrediCheck, I analyzed competitors' app reviews to extract actionable insights that informed my decisions.
Embracing collaboration and staying humble
I believe the best outcomes come from collaboration and an open mind. I keep communication open with team members, sharing my process frequently and seeking feedback to ensure alignment and improvement.
Keep creating things…
